Ellie & Brads Barley Town House Wedding - A Preview

Last year I spent a beautiful Autumn afternoon shooting Ellie & Brads Engagement pictures in Panshanger Park and I've been looking forward to their big day ever since!

Ellie & Brad exchanged vows at The Barley Town House, a cute little village hall in Royston that's steeped in History. Originally built in 1526 it later become the first ever village hall in England to hold legal wedding ceremonies. Hurrah! Also, i'ts rustic charm and quirky character provide the perfect location for a super relaxed wedding day.

After an emotional and heartfelt ceremony, everyone headed outside for drinks and canapes before going upstairs to the reception. Which can I just say, looked absolutely incredible! Styled by the couple themselves with rich gold & deep red tones, candles, flowers in jars with lots of lush foliage everything looked stunning and tied in with their boho luxe vibes perfectly.

Despite the venue having no formal gardens of it's own, the village itself is full of cute little spots for pictures, all within a 5 minute walk. Ellie & Brad are so chilled out, and were clearly buzzing from the "Oh my god we did it!!" high, so shooting their portraits was a lot of fun! And whilst this might be a bold statement, as we've heard lots of amazing speeches over the years, the speeches given for Ellie & Brad were definitely some of the best we've ever had the pleasure of listening to! The entire room was either roaring with laughter or shedding tears (including us!) and it was such a joy to capture.

Congratulation to Ellie & Brad! We loved spending the day with you all so a huge thank you for having us!
