When I first met Charlotte and Luke we immediately bonded over our shared love of Parks & Recreation and a good Netflix binging session! I loved hearing all about their laid back wedding plans and I've been excited for their wedding ever since! Charlotte & Luke opted for a relaxed intimate city wedding with their closest family and friends to join them in their celebrations, before jetting off to France for their second wedding!
They exchanged vows in Cambridgeshire Registry Office and then headed off to their chilled out wedding reception at The Architect, a cosy little pub on Castle Hill.
The newlyweds saved the cake cutting, speeches and first dance for their second ceremony, and instead opted to hold a pub quiz! The Disney round was my particular favourite (I'm total Disney geek, not even going to deny it) and we definitely did not help any of the guests with answers. Well.... ok, maybe a few! Charlotte's brother had also made a beautiful video montage of family and friends congratulating them and wishing them luck and love in their new adventures together, so there was lots of laughter and happy tears all round whilst this was played on the pub tv screen.
I have to mention Charlotte's beautiful dress too!! I had an inkling on the way to the wedding that she's be wearing something a little bit different and loved it when she rocked up to the wedding looking utterly stunning wearing a 3/4 length dress with lace sleeves that a had a bit of a 50's vibe. She also had the most adorable wedding shoes with hearts on the toes!
